A telling face

Hi everyone,

I’m continuing again with my Poetry101 challenge, and today’s prompt is Face.

We were also given an extra challenge to write using alliteration, sooo here we go.

The creased crooked lines of her kind face show

That life has weathered her, through the highs and lows.

Some stories she remembers, sweet and soft,

Some others she’d rather forget, and wishes were lost.

Her eyes glitter with memories, saved forever,

Her smile says: ‘yes, life is a treasure.’

So it turns out my rhyming abilities aren’t as good as I thought, but I can work on that, and trying is what counts isn’t it?😅
